The Project Jacques Vabre...
… is pure passion. Florian has one simple objective, to
participate in the famous „Jacques Vabre“ double-handed transatlantic
sailboat race from Le Havre, France to Salvador da Bahia, Brazil.
The intermediate Class 40 racing sailboat is the ideal format for realizing
the dream of ocean sailboat racing. It is a class that welcomes both
professional and amateurs, and has something to offer them all.

- March – June, 2007 – Boat launching, commissioning, preparation, test sails, and training in Hammamet, Tunisia
- July – August, 2007 – Training
and boat preparation, delivery from Tunisia to France (monitored by Race Commitee, 1000 minimum qualifying run)
- August – September, 2007 – Official boat check and measurement, training in La Trinité sur
Mer, France
- October 2007 – Training, final preparation for Jacques Vabre, transfer to Le Havre
- October 26, 2007 – Tie up at Jacques
